Bhikhu Parekh’s Ethnocentric Political Theory: The Pursuit of Flawed Universals (Palgrave)

Tariq Modood’s Essays on Secularism and Multiculturalism (Rowman and Littlefield)

These two complementary books – one arguing for a multiculturalist approach in political theory and the other for a multiculturalist approach to political secularism and the accommodation of religious minorities – will be discussed by a political theory panel consisting of:

Professor Judith Squires, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost, University of Bristol
